明治期に京都で活躍した神坂雪佳はウィリアム・モリスをはじめとするヨーロッパ工芸運動の影響を受け、
近代琳派の意匠「和風且つモダンな図案」を生みました。

as a pioneer of graphic design in Japan.
Influenced by the Rimpa school, the European craft movement,
